found the beautiful scene which corresponded to perspective drawing. The
temperature could be 4 or 5 degrees only in the early morning. Accompanying the

The whole
family accompanied my husband to study in Japan during summer 2006. We
travelled to Omimaiko in one weekend. This was our first time paddled in the
lake. Beside the lake, there were rows of big trees such as wind protection
plantations. It looked like one of Seurat’s works titled “A Sunday on La
Grande Jatte”.

This
creation depicts the landscape of America in July 2010. When I took on further
studies in America for a month, I saw extensive grasslands and the boundless
sky in Ohio State. That brought me the idea of making this painting. Among
almost fourth-fifths of the sky, the main characters were those fast moving
clouds. It was very challenging in picturing this scene.

bay is the place where my husband grew up. When he was little, he often came

The
invention of camera allows us to re-introspect the necessity of realistic
creation in the world of painting.
Since
the 20th century, there are myriads possibilities of exploring
painting. Even so, I still persist in realistic painting.
The
team of PingTung Senior Industrial Vocational school has conducted an arts camp
of southern district in KenTing this summer. Due to an impending typhoon, all
outdoor activities were moved indoor to the KenTing Youth Activity Center. From
the center, continuous rolling waves in a long distance away were in the view
with mighty waves beat against the shore nearby.

I was
enchanted with a Japanese cartoon series “Candy Candy” when I was little. The
fence woven by roses often appeared in the story scene. After a number of years
I’ve finally witnessed this kind of fence in Northern San Francisco, a city
called NAPA. The fence looked very romantic and practical. I am so envy of
those birds in the painting, which can live in such a beautiful place.

Year
2014 was a great harvest year of my pastel creations. I felt my hands are
clumsy when painting with oil pastel as it is uneasy to spread out the colors.
Nevertheless, I love its suitability for both tactile and subtle feels displayed
in the painting. I am infatuated with roses as my painting subject recently.
I’ve tried to use oil pastel to express thin petals and thick leaves, and
interweaved the painting of SUNLIGHT . ROSES.

Italy
is the key city of Renaissance and the classical unit of Western Arts history
for arts students each year. I finally had a chance to visit this place in
person. It is tremendously difficult to use painting colors to describe water in
Venice. The entire country is linked by waterways. Gondola is one of the means
of transportation for hundreds of years. Certainly there is also public ferry
service available, yet, I still prefer to include Gondola in my painting.

have always hoped for a chance to depict the feel of tropical trees laden with
fruits. In the second half year of 2015, I went to Chia Yi and saw the garden
full of mandarin trees. I immediately took a photo of the scene. This piece of
work was completed in early 2016. It depicts different layers of leaves and
fruits which accentuate the fiery soil.

Santorini is a beautiful Mediterranean island.
All the buildings are painted in one color – pure white. According to a local
tour guide, this is determined through votes. It was the first time seeing the flammable

After the
creation of Hamasen’s scenery, once again I have created “Water. Kaohsiung”
with the identical theme but from different perspective. The purpose of this
creation is to express the beauty of Kaohsiung Harbor. I drew the place Hamasen
which is well known by Kaohsiung citizens. In a distance away, the brick red
colored building can be seen vaguely. It’s the campus of National Sun Yat-sen
University. There were many boats anchored in the first dock. The breeze
blowing brought out the beautiful natural scenery of Kaohsiung, Takao Hill. It
was absolutely stunning. It creates another style by expressing water and
verdant mountains with pastel.

scene in Japan Kenrokuen Garden. It was a cloudy day and sky cleared up
occasionally. Under the clear water, colorful cobblestones were covered
throughout. Above the clear water, the clear sky was reflected transitorily.

of trees fell down after the devastation of a severe typhoon. The collapsed
trees I travelled passed by is the Lemon Eucalyptus native to Kinman.

I went to film Red-crowned crane in Koshiro
Hokkaido, then visited the trout fishing farm. Spring had just arrived and the
scene in front of me was covered with verdant grass. Unknown beautiful plants and
unknown vines combined with the natural fish ponds that cultivated the trout, green
symphony images were traced out in the picture.

The
philosophy of this creation
This
is the second time I painted Georges Seurat Park after a number of years. I
painted this picture from a different prospect. As opposed to previously used
powdery pastel, I chose to use Sennelier oil pastel this time. Picasso participated
in the research of Sennelier oil pastel which has become my favorite creation
medium. It allows me to have a perfect interpretation of the space.

研究了Richerd Mckinley的風景畫後，我對風景畫的表現又有另一層體悟。
同中求異：幾乎一樣的樹種組成的樹林，由近至遠。如何運用有限的綠色表現出景深…….思索過後在綠中大膽加上藍，寶藍、土耳其藍、天空藍、加不同的紫色。
異中求同：畫面中樹林與青草，這麼多的色調，如何巧妙統調…。
每一幅畫都是新的挑戰。

philosophy of this creation
After studied the landscape painting by
Richerd Mckinley, I have a different understanding of expressing landscape
painting. Seeking difference from common points: a forest formed by trees of
almost identical species, from near to far. How to apply the limited green
colors to express the depth of the scene…. After speculation, I daringly added
the blue, Royal blue, Turkish blue, sky blue and different purple colors on
green colors.
Seeking common ground while keeping
difference: the forest and grass in the picture have so many tones, how to
smartly integrated all colors……
Every painting is a new challenge.
